Justicia

(2020)

Justicia is a 360° experimental video performance that invites the audience into the streets of Toluca, Mexico, where public space becomes a canvas for dialogue and reflection on violence against women.

Two men, wearing handmade animal masks, and a woman move through the city, approaching women with a simple but powerful exchange—a hug, a conversation, and a small yellow sticky note with the word “Justicia.” Each woman is free to place the note anywhere in the city, turning Toluca into a collective map of voices and silent demands for change.

The project seeks to engage locals from all social classes and ages, capturing direct insights from real people and fostering an unfiltered dialogue on this urgent issue—one that extends far beyond Mexico, as violence against women remains a global reality.
