#mirrorselfie
(2016-2018)
The selfie is often considered online narcissism by some. If you ask me, I see the mirror selfie as a beautiful symbol of our quest for self-exploration.
For me, capturing myself in diverse settings, often with mirrors as a central motif, became a form of self-therapy. It allowed me to confront my own image, explore my identity in different contexts, and document my evolving understanding of self.
I see the #mirrorselfie as a visual narrative of self-acceptance, vulnerability, and resilience. I share this project with the hope that it can inspire others to engage in therapeutic photography as a means of self-discovery, healing, and personal growth.
