The Owner

While minimalism emerged in the 1960s as an artistic movement, today it has become a necessity in response to overconsumption and environmental collapse.

As a young expatriate, by 21 years old, I have relocated across three countries, changing five cities and moving from seven apartments. s. While my experience is personal, it reflects a broader trend among millennials, who, on average, move residences much more frequently than previous generations.

Despite conscious efforts to downsize, packing remained a draining, eight-hour ordeal. The Owner questions the significance of material accumulation, inviting reflection on the impermanence of things.
