Luiza Preda (born 1996) is a Romanian visual artist, cultural producer, and art educator based in Espoo, Finland.

Preda uses photography as a reflective and experiential tool to explore time, places and their relationship with the subconscious. Her projects are usually long-term and process-based, inviting viewers to slow down and engage with their own sensory and psychological awareness.

Preda’s first solo exhibition, I CAN’T SEE (2018), was presented as a large-scale sensory photography installation at the Museum of Art in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Her work has been included in research-based publications and is held in the Finnish Heritage Agency collection through the collaborative photobook No Justice, No Peace (2020). She has received cultural grants from the cities of Tampere (2021) and Espoo (2025), and in 2025 was commissioned to produce interactive art and art–technology installations for public institutions and private sector partners, including the City of Espoo and Nokia.

Preda is educated in fine arts, media and culture studies and is a certified art educator by The Ministry of Education and Culture in Finland and Romania, working with youth and adult education. Her practice is informed by artists such as Joseph Beuys, Olafur Eliasson, Paweł Althamer, and Sally Mann.

Alongside her individual artistic practice, Preda develops socially engaged and educational initiatives that expand art into everyday contexts. In 2023, she started Creative Harmony, an initiative focused on increasing access to art and exploring its role in self-development, experiential learning, and social connection across diverse communities and age groups.
