As Nordic summer quietly fades and the crisp air of September begins to settle in, nature invites us to slow down, breathe deeper, and tune into the rhythm of seasonal change. A photo walk in nature becomes more than just a creative activity—it becomes a gentle ritual of transition.
Guided by certified art teacher and fine art photographer Luiza Preda, this free workshop (2-3 h duration) invites you to explore Finnish nature slowly, creatively, and with presence. We’ll use playful photo- activities and engage in simple eco-art practices to connect our natural surroundings, the others and ourselves - all through the soft practice of photography.
Come as you are.
No previous experience needed, and no special equipment required — a phone camera and interest in photography is just perfect. This inclusive event is open to all ages and art abilities, and is free for you thanks to the support from the City of Espoo.

Where does this takes place?
Otsolahti Bay, nestled in the heart of Tapiola, offers a peaceful waterfront and winding paths surrounded by nature. Historically known as Björnvik, meaning 'Bay of Bears,' Otsolahti Bay was once part of the Hagalund Manor estate. Today, it stands as a testament to Tapiola's vision—a harmonious blend of urban living and nature. The bay is an integral part of the Espoo Waterfront Walkway, a 40 km coastal trail connecting various districts, offering a seamless experience of Espoo's natural beauty and architectural charm. This area is also recognized for its rich birdlife and serves as a serene spot for both locals and visitors to enjoy the changing seasons.
